These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Set Assist application ("the App") provided by Greyed Out LTD ("we", "us", "our"), based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Set Assist is a productivity tool designed for Canadian film and television freelancers. The App provides features including billable hours calculation, invoice generation, calendar management, crew directory, finance tracking, and timesheet creation.
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
Set Assist offers auto-renewable subscription plans that unlock additional features:
Basic Plan: $4.99 CAD/month or $49.99 CAD/year. Includes multi-day calculator, invoicing, calendar sync, income and expense tracking, crew directory, AD Tools, and more.
Pro Plan: $9.99 CAD/month or $99.99 CAD/year. Includes everything in Basic plus standalone invoice builder, logo on PDFs, mileage tracking, tax export, kit inventory, PM dashboard, and more.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and may vary by region. Prices are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change.
Certain features of the App are available without a subscription, including the basic calculator, dark mode, Face ID lock, and weather information.
The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are the property of Greyed Out LTD and are protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the App without our prior written consent.
The App includes rate information based on the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACCP) recommended rates. These rates are provided for reference purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy or currency of rate data. Users are responsible for verifying rates with their union or production company.
You retain ownership of any data you enter into the App, including invoices, financial records, and calendar entries. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Calculations, invoices, and timesheets generated by the App are tools to assist your work — you are responsible for verifying their accuracy before submitting them to production companies or clients.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greyed Out LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by using the Delete Account feature within the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
